Marriage Celebration Retreat -
Feb 13-15, 2009

Pastors Steve and Michelle Timm of United Lutheran Church in Red Wing, MN are looking forward to leading the 2009 marriage retreat. Pastor Steve has also served overseas as a chaplain in the military. They have attended the Okoboji marriage retreat before and are excited to lead others through a great celebration weekend. The Timm's bring with them extensive training in marriage and family counseling, both in civilian and military arenas. Mark your calendars now and plan to attend!

Ice Cream Social - May 31, 2009

Help us start the summer season with an Ice Cream Social at our Ingham site. You are invited to share an afternoon of fun and good food. Maid rites, baked beans, chips, homemade pies and ice cream are served from 4:00-6:00pm. Take home a wonderful pie from the Pie Auction held at 6:00pm. Meet your friends and make new friends at the Ice Cream Social!

Scandinavian Feast and Quilt Auction-
July 31- Aug 1, 2009

Preview the quilts and enjoy a delicious Scandinavian meal including roast pork, fish, abelskiver, red cabbage, kringle, mashed potatoes, and much more on Friday night, July 31, from 5:30-7:30pm. On Saturday, August 1, come to view the quilts and have lunch. Lunch is servered from 11:30am-1:00 pm. More than 190 quilts made by women's groups and friends of the camp are auctioned. Come to bid on these lovely quilts. It's a great way to support the ministry!

Hog Roast - August 16, 2009

The Dan Yonker family roasts the most wonderful pork and grilled potatoes you have ever tasted and the Ingham auxiliary finishes out the meal with delicious salads and bars. Come for the food, stay for the fun and fellowship! Bring the children to participate in the carnival. The special music begins at 3:30 pm with a program by the summer staff. Serving begins at 4:00 and continues until 6:00 pm. A pie auction is held at 6:00 pm.
